OptiFuel is a small plug-and-drive device that connects to your car's OBD2 diagnostic port. Once installed, it communicates with your vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit) and optimizes fuel injection, timing, and combustion parameters. After approximately 200 km / 150 miles of driving, OptiFuel learns your driving habits and adjusts itself to deliver maximum fuel savings tailored to your vehicle.

Most drivers see fuel savings of up to 15%, depending on their vehicle type, driving habits, and road conditions. The device continuously adapts to your driving style, so savings may improve over time as it learns how you drive.

OptiFuel is universally compatible with all petrol and diesel vehicles manufactured from 1996 onwards. If your car has an OBD2 port (which virtually all cars since 1996 do), OptiFuel will work with it.

Installation takes less than 2 minutes and requires zero tools or mechanical knowledge. Simply turn off your engine, locate the OBD2 port under your steering wheel, plug OptiFuel in, turn the ignition to the first position (without starting the engine), press the reset button for 5 seconds, wait about 30–54 seconds, and start your car. That's it.

None at all. Once it's plugged in, there's nothing else to do — no software updates, no servicing, no ongoing costs.

In most vehicles, the OBD2 port is located under the dashboard on the driver's side, usually near the steering column. It can sometimes be found behind a small panel or cover. Check your vehicle's owner manual if you're unsure.

No. OptiFuel only draws minimal power when the ignition is on. It will not drain your battery when the car is parked.
